Day 23 – W for Water, Weekends, The big fat Indian Weddings

The alphabet W stands for Water. Water is the elixir of life, the driving force of the nature. Like Air, we can’t survive without water. Nothing quenches thirst, like a glass of water. All the life forms need water. Water is home to millions of marine species. A water body just transforms the place and makes it more tranquil. I am grateful for Water.

There’s plenty of water in the universe without life, but nowhere is there life without water.

Weekends are the days to relax. I am grateful for the Weekends. Earlier, I have worked in places where working 50 plus hrs. and 6 days in a week was the norm. With a single day for a weekend, I would be too tired and exhausted. Was that one day meant for relaxation or enjoyment or to finish the weekly chores and prepare for the next. I am much at peace now, with 2-day weekend off. A longer weekend means more time with family, time to relax from pressures at work and a happy employee means more productivity.

Without the weekend, where would the week be?

Lastly, I am grateful to the big fat Indian Weddings. They give you a chance to live the fairytale, dress up like princess, eat good food, drink good wine, dance and sing like in movies and catch up with friends, family and cousins and get good photographs.
