“I can’t see beyond the tall green grass” said Maya the bee. They had come too far in the search.
“I think it must have flown north to look for those white flowers” replied Willy.
Its new friend Jack had been missing since two days. Maya and Willy kept searching in the tall grass.
They were now afraid as they couldn’t see anything beyond.
Willy felt jack was a little weird. It was always lost in its own world. Maya realized that “Life is simply about seeing who cares to stay.”

An interesting take on the prompt, using the point of view of two insects.

Bees on a missing person search. This was a fun, refreshing take on the prompt.

Dear Ruchi,
I think a welcome to Friday Fictioneers is in order. I enjoyed your very different perspective and the last line is thought provoking. Nicely done.
Shalom,
Rochelle

I like Maya’s observation at the close of the story. An original take.
