The word Partner to me means my life partner, my husband. Actually, that makes writing for this prompt difficult, because I cannot create fiction out of our story, and writing about him is something very personal which I cannot share here.
We met for the first time in college. We were batchmates. As per him, it was love at first sight, but for me it took many months to graduate from friend to girl friend to lovers, till finally we got married after many years of courtship.
Life becomes more enjoyable and easy when your life partner is also your best friend. However, it is also a potential difficult situation, especially there will be some point in marriage when you would want to bitch about him and he being the best friend you cannot even do that.
My partner has been a steady strength in my life, and he has always encouraged me to do what I want.
Every marriage will have some differences, but the best relationship is one in which you have a good understanding of your differences. I am blessed to have such a partner.
